October 2026: I am starting a new collection. With considerable trepidation.
It is hard to talk about some ideas (such as what is Islam like?) without people accusing you of being prejudiced.
I have to say, I am concerned at what is happening to my country, and immigration and islam are causing changes that are making me ask questions about the very nature of our nation.
I have always had a positive attitude towards people of all religions. To be more precise, I love all people. And I still do. Asking questions doesn’t change that.

This collection may grow over the coming weeks, but for now, I am just collecting some videos and interviews that have been opening up the discussion around immigration and islam so that I can share them with some friends.

Immigration – I am not against people moving to our country and becoming part of our nation. However, I am concerned about the increasing proportion of people in the UK who would like to live in an islamic culture/nation.
Here is an 11 minute analysis by Konstantin Kisin, of the Triggernometry channel. It’s not immigration itself that is the problem, but immigration of people whose culture is incompatible with ours.
What do you know about the core beliefs of Islam?
I have recently learnt that islam, as revealed in the Qu’ran, is not a religion that will live quietly alongside other religions. I am able to hear this, think about it, seek to learn more and still love my muslim friends and neighbours.
Here is a 20 minute overview of the history of Islam and it’s incompatibility with western culture.

My reflections on the above:
Mr Federer says most muslims are moderate. Certainly I would describe all the muslims I have known as moderate. This includes neighbours and friends who I count as upstanding members of our community.
